The safety of our staff and patients is taken very seriously at Dawning Light.  All surfaces are cleaned and linens changed between appointments while UV-C light and air purifiers are used to clean the air.  As of March 4, 2022, the CDC urges healthcare settings to require patients and staff to wear masks. All staff are up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccination.

Patients are asked to reschedule their appointment if they have had recent exposure to COVID-19 or are experiencing any of the following symptoms, which can take 2-14 days to emerge after infection:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If someone is showing any of the following signs, seek emergency medical care immediately:

  • Trouble breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion
  • Inability to wake or stay awake
  • Pale, gray, or blue-colored skin, lips, or nail beds, depending on skin tone

Call 911 or call ahead to your local emergency facility: Notify the operator that you are seeking care for someone who has or may have COVID-19.
